SUMMARY
This article will describe how to locate where data is stored on the PC.
This solution will require searching your PC for saved EDGMM, EDGJS, or EDGP files. These files are created when generating Proctor or Field projects in the EDG Gauge app.
This article will use Everything for search instructions, so we suggest downloading and installing Everything to quickly search your PC for the files.

SOLUTION - EASY
The data for the EDG Gauge app should be at this location:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\HumboldtMfg.Co.EDGGauge_zz1h63f08qdvc
where USERNAME is a user of the computer where EDG Gauge application is installed.
- Locate the above directory.
- Select all the contents of this folder and right click on the contents and select Compress to Zip file. Depending on the version of Windows your options to zip the contents may be different.
- Finally, share this file with a file share service and send the share link to Humboldt using email address support@humboldtmfg.com. Use any file share service such as OneDrive, Google, etc.
SOLUTION - EVERYTHING
- Open Everything.
- In the search box enter "*.EDGP", "*.EDGMM", or "*.EDGJS" (without the quotes).
- See screen shots for examples of searches. You will be looking for a file whose parent folder Contains the name HumboldtMfg.Co.EDGGauge_. It will have a longer folder name as the extra information changes with the installed version of the App.
- Right-click on the file found by Everything and select Open Path
- Navigate to the directory that Starts with HumboldtMfg.Co.EDGGauge_
- Select all the contents of this folder and right click on the contents and select Compress to Zip file. Depending on the version of Windows your options to zip the contents may be different.
- Finally, share this file with a file share service and send the share link to Humboldt using email address support@humboldtmfg.com. Use any file share service such as OneDrive, Google, etc.
