Summary
When performing a Consolidated Undrained Test with an HM-5240 the software will arm and use one machine at a time. Any other tests wanting to start will wait until the first test has been armed. If the test process is terminated prematurely by the user, it can leave the flag "SaturationSetupInProgress" set to TRUE.
If the event the flag is left as TRUE and there is no test running the "SaturationSetupInProgress" will need be cleared manually.
Solution 1
- Close HMTS if it is opened.
- Locate in Windows File Explorer where HMTS is installed (typically 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Humboldt Material Testing Software' or 'C:\Program Files\Humboldt Material Testing Software').
- Locate the 'HMTSCurrentTests.ini' file.
- Open the file with NotePad.
- Find the line that reads "SaturationSetupInProgress=1".
- Change the 1 to a 0 so the line reads "SaturationSetupInProgress=0"
- Save the changes and exit NotePad.
- Testing can now continue with HMTS.
