Multi-Device Connection

Summary

This article will demonstrate how-to connect multiple 3000 series loggers to a single PC.

Please see Humboldt Serial Driver article for installation of HM-000379 adapter.

Requirements

• HM-000379 USB to RS-485 adapter.
• HM-000375 Serial to RS-485 adapter (Discontinued).
• All equipment MUST be in multi-mode to communicate in multi-mode.
• All equipment must have a unique id.

Procedure

The multi-mode communications and unique ID will need to be adjusted on the logger.  Press the SETUP key to enter the setup menu. Use the F keys to navigate and change options.
