Default System Units

SUMMARY

By default the NEXT software global units in Inch-Pound.  When a new test is created the default global units will determine what the tabulated units are set to.  These units can be adjusted but if you are running test in SI you will want the default units to load in SI every time.

SOLUTION

Default Calibration Management Units View

1. Open Calibration Management
2. Click the Options button and Select Calibration Management Units from the drop-down list
3. Select the desired units and click the Done button.

Default Software Global Units

1. Open Calibration Management
2. Click the Options button and select Options from the drop-down list
3. In the Program Options window select the desired global units which is found within under Default Units within the General section.
4. Click OK

The Program options can also be found within any test module.
