CORRECTED LOAD [CL]
CL = L- initial load + top cap weight.
CORRECTED DISPLACEMENT [CD]
CD = D - initial displacement
CORRECTED AREA [CA]
CA = initial area / (1 - AS / 100)
AXIAL STRAIN [AS]
AS = (D - initial displacement) / sample height * 100
STRESS [S]
S = CL / initial area
CORRECTED STRESS [CS]
CS = CL / CA
Corrected Stress Membrane [CSM] = (4 * YOUNGS MODULOS * membrane thickness * AS) / Square Root(4 * CA / PI)
Membrane Effect [ME] = CSM / (S - CS) * 100
If ME is greater than 5% the CSM results are applied: CS = CS - CSM
