Prerelease Builds

SUMMARY

NEXT software typically includes prebuilds prior to the final consumer release being made available on our website and through the NEXT update tool.

These prerelease versions feature fixes or enhancements to the NEXT software and serve as test versions for our internal testers and various use cases.

It is important to note that these prereleases are intended as trial versions leading up to the final release.

SOLUTION

Include Prerelease in Update Check

1. Open 'Program Options' from the NEXT Console or any NEXT Test module.
2. Click on 'Application' in the 'General' section.
3. Check 'Include pre-release builds in application updates' (Image A).
4. Click 'Ok' to save Program Options.

Check for Updates

Locate the Humboldt NEXT icon in the Windows system tray, right-click on the icon, and select 'Application Update'.

or

Locate the Update application in the installed Windows applications.

The NEXT application update will check for updates and include prerelease builds.
