Registration License File

Summary

After you have obtained the .Humboldt activation file from the registration process, you will need to open this file with the Test Module Activation tool.

This article will guide you through the process of activating the test module(s) once you have an activation file.

The activation file is downloaded from the Humboldt NEXT license portal or included in the activation email you will receive after activating the license key(s).

Solution

1. Save the .Humboldt activation file.
2. Open the Test Module Activation tool (See Open Methods below).
3. Select the Activation Summary tab in the Test Module Activation tool (IMAGE 1).
4. Click Load Activation File (IMAGE 1).
5. Select the .Humboldt file you received from Humboldt.
6. After double clicking the .Humboldt file or clicking the Open button in the dialog window, the license(s) will be applied and all modules will be available for use immediately.

Open Methods

Method 1:

Locate the Test Module Activation tool from the Windows Start button.  It will be the Humboldt NEXT folder.

Method 2:

Open from the Message Console.

1. Right-click the Humboldt icon in the system tray.
2. Select Premium Test Activation.
3. The Test Module Activation tool will be opened.

Method 3:

Open from a test module.

1. Open any test module (not a specific test file).
2. Click the Key image at the bottom-right of the window.
3. The Test Module Activation tool will be opened.

Method 4:

Open from an existing test.

1. Open any existing NEXT test file.
2. Select the Options tab.
3. Click the Request Activation button.
4. The Test Module Activation tool will be opened.
