Test Units Explained

Out of the box the software will display units per the set global system units (standard or metric).  

Test units in specimen information and the tabulation can be modified as well as the precision shown for each result.  Unit modifications carry over to any reports created.

Any units modifications done in a test module will NOT be applied to other tests or the default units (system or user).

When a new test is opened the default units or user saved default units will be applied to the new test.  

If a specimen information template is created/used and units in the template that do not match the units of the test, the information template will overwrite the unit parameters for all specimen involved in that test.  The test will use the unit parameters from the specimen information.
